I am Dr. Vinod Rajkumar, an orthopedic surgeon from Chennai. I have been performing various interventional procedures using blind techniques, but my success rate has been inconsistent—about 50%. That’s when I came across the Asian Pain Academy, which offers courses on ultrasound-guided interventional pain management. Over the past four days, I attended their course, and it has been an incredibly informative experience. The hands-on training was excellent, starting with the basics of ultrasound and progressing to the identification of anatomical structures in major joints like the shoulder, knee, elbow, and wrist. The faculty provided clear guidance on performing procedures, inserting needles, managing complications, and understanding advanced techniques such as facet joint and transforaminal injections under ultrasound and C-arm guidance. This course has significantly enhanced my understanding and skills in interventional pain procedures. I am extremely grateful to the instructors for this invaluable learning opportunity.
