Comprehensive Hands-on Learning

Over four intensive days, participants received practical training in:

  • Musculoskeletal ultrasound scanning

  • Sonoanatomy of major joints and peripheral nerves

  • Ultrasound-guided pain interventions

  • Fluoroscopy-guided spine procedures

  • Hybrid ultrasound and fluoroscopy techniques

  • Regenerative pain procedures

  • Patient selection and procedural planning

  • Complication avoidance and safety techniques

Live Clinical Experience

One of the highlights of the workshop was the opportunity to observe and assist in multiple live patient procedures performed under expert supervision. Participants gained first-hand experience in clinical decision-making, patient positioning, image optimization, needle guidance, and procedural techniques that cannot be fully appreciated through lectures alone.

The busy clinical schedule allowed participants to witness a wide spectrum of chronic pain conditions and evidence-based interventional treatments.

Learning Beyond the Classroom 30 July – 2 August 2026, Asian Pain Academy Successfully Conducted 4-Day Hands-on Workshop in Pain Medicine

The workshop emphasized practical skills, discussion of real-life cases, troubleshooting difficult interventions, and interactive faculty-participant engagement. Every session encouraged questions, clinical reasoning, and hands-on practice to improve procedural confidence.
