Exploring the Asian Pain Academy’s 4-Day Intensive Workshop on Ultrasound- and C-Arm–Guided Pain Interventions:


From March 12–15, 2026, the Asian Pain Academy hosted a four-day intensive hands-on workshop focused on Ultrasound (USG) and C-Arm–guided pain management interventions. Bringing together physicians and anaesthesiologists from across India and abroad, the program went beyond traditional lectures, providing a fully immersive clinical training experience designed to transform knowledge into practical expertise.


Moving Beyond Traditional CME

This was far from a standard academic session. The workshop emphasized practical mastery, featuring:

  • Live procedural demonstrations

  • Real-time, image-guided patient interventions

  • Interactive, case-based discussions

  • Supervised hands-on practice on volunteers

Participants actively performed ultrasound-guided nerve blocks and fluoroscopy-assisted procedures under the guidance of expert mentors, with a focus on precision, safety, and clinical excellence in contemporary pain management.
