Highlights from the 22nd–25th May 2025 Batch: Hands-on Pain Management Workshop by Asian Pain Academy

Asian Pain Academy successfully conducted another enriching Hands-on Workshop on Interventional Pain Management from 22nd to 25th May, 2025. This intensive four-day training program brought together passionate pain physicians and orthopedic specialists from across the country, all committed to advancing their practical skills in ultrasound-guided and fluoroscopy-guided pain interventions.

Held under the expert guidance of senior faculty, the workshop offered in-depth training on a wide range of procedures including:

  • Cervical and Lumbar Epidural Steroid Injections

  • Facet Joint Injections and Medial Branch Blocks

  • Sacroiliac Joint Injections

  • Piriformis and Deep Gluteal Muscle Interventions

  • Peripheral Nerve Blocks (LFCN, Genicular, Pudendal, and more)

  • Ultrasound-guided Joint Injections (Shoulder, Hip, Knee)

  • Radiofrequency Ablation Techniques

  • Regenerative Interventions (PRP, Viscosupplementation)

    The 6-month Fellowship in Pain Medicine covers general pain management topics, C-arm-guided procedures, and a few selected MSK USG-guided interventions. The 1-year Pain Management Fellowship is more comprehensive, covering all aspects of pain management, including both basic and advanced MSK USG-guided procedures.
